Donating 10% of Semi-Annual Profits to NGOs Supporting Conflict-Affected Regions

Pro Bono

JAYID Co., Ltd. has recently completed its semi-annual financial closing. As part of our long-standing commitment, JAYID allocates 10% of its profits each year to organizations that our CEO, Nanako Akiyoshi, consciously chooses to support based on her personal convictions. This year, donations were made to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and the Palestine Children’s Campaign. In Palestine (Gaza), despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025, incidents such as gunfire against civilians have continued, leaving the path to lasting peace uncertain. At the same time, efforts have begun to provide both physical and psychological care to those in particularly vulnerable positions, including children and women in Gaza. Meanwhile, Sudan is currently facing what is described as the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. Since 2023, more than 150,000 people have lost their lives due to attacks on civilians and famine, and over 12 million people have been displaced. In light of these realities, JAYID selected Médecins Sans Frontières and the Palestine Children’s Campaign as NGOs that actively provide support in conflict-affected regions. The name “JAYID” is derived from Arabic, meaning “Goodness” or “good deeds.” In keeping with this meaning, we remain committed to contributing—however modestly—to supporting children and women suffering in conflict zones around the world. We will continue these efforts steadily, beginning with donations as a tangible form of action.
